Dominic Hoban - Physiotherapist

Dominic Hoban has 20 years’ experience helping people recover from pain and injuries, including the last decade in Ranelagh, where he is active in the local community. 

He coaches GAA at Ranelagh Gaels, is a member of Brookfield tennis club and was on the PTA at Sandford Parish National School.

 

He has a post graduate Masters in Sports Physiotherapy, and has worked with high level sports including Australian football, Cricket Ireland, and more recently with the IRFU seven’s and Women’s teams during their Six Nations successes. In these environments, Dominic refined his Physiotherapy skills and worked closely with Strength and Conditioning coaches, Sports Scientists and Dieticians broadening his knowledge.

Dominic continues to stay at the forefront of the profession with ongoing professional development both in Ireland and internationally, including attending a masterclass at the Salomon footwear headquarters in 2019. He is an occasional lecturer at UCD and is on the committee of the Eastern Branch of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists, as well as working as an assessor for the Physiotherapist Registration Board.

 

This experience and expertise is now available at Physio6 for treatment of your musculoskeletal injury, post-surgical rehabilitation or just general aches and pains. He has particular expertise in running injuries and completed his thesis on hamstring injury rehabilitation

 

Dominic is available for consultations Monday to Friday and combines hands on treatment with personalised rehabilitation plans, providing patients with their exercise program on video to further help you on the road to recovery.
